3. Mensajes picantes con clase

Coquetear por mensaje es un arte. Algunas reglas que nos funcionan:

Sugerir gana a describir.

Playing from afar: app-controlled treats for when you're apart

By Mia & Marco · 6-min read · Earn flames 🔥 as you read

There was a year when Marco traveled for work almost every week. At first, our nights apart were all "did you eat?" and "good night, love you." Sweet, but lukewarm. Until one night, from a hotel, he sent a text that just said: "Open the box on the nightstand." From that day on, distance stopped being a problem and became a game.

Today we'll tell you how we do it: app-controlled treats, how to flirt by text without it feeling awkward, video-date ideas and, very important, how to protect your privacy.

What kind of long-distance couple are you?

1. One of you leaves on a three-day trip. The first night…

2. A spicy text in the middle of the workday…

3. Would you give your partner the control… from another city?

1. Distance doesn't kill the spark (if you use it well)

Being apart has one advantage almost no one uses: anticipation. When you can't touch, the imagination works overtime. Every text gets read twice, every voice gets heard more closely. The trick is to stop seeing distance as a pause and start seeing it as the longest foreplay in the world.

Before the trip, hide a handwritten note in the other's suitcase. Just one sentence about what will happen when they get back. Let them find it at the hotel.

2. Long-Distance Rose and Secret Date: control travels with you

Marco at the airport. Yes, he's smiling for exactly the reason you think.

The two treats we use most when we're apart run on a phone app. Long-Distance Rose is a soft caress for the bunny that your partner controls from wherever they are: intensity, rhythm, pauses. Secret Date is discreet and wearable, perfect for playing while she goes about her normal day and he, miles away, decides when to "say hi."

The beautiful part isn't the tech: it's feeling the other person present even when they're not in the room. A long pause, an unexpected touch, a rhythm that builds slowly… it's a conversation without words.

Spicy note: make the first "touch" of the day arrive unannounced, at a random time. For the rest of the day she'll be checking her phone for very different reasons.

3. Spicy texting with class

Flirting by text is an art. A few rules that work for us:

Suggesting beats describing. "I'm thinking about what you did to me on Saturday" says more than a paragraph. Ask before turning up the heat, especially if they're at work: "Are you alone?" is the sexiest question there is. Use your own code. We use the Oops! Dictionary names: if anyone sees "the twins miss you," no one gets it… except him. And respect silence: if they don't answer, they're busy, not rejecting you.

Play "three words": each of you describes what you want to do when you're together again… in just three words. Emojis allowed. Whoever leaves the other unable to focus wins.

4. Ideas for a real video date

Couple on a video-call date with wine
A glass of wine on each side of the screen. It felt like the same table.

A video call can be just "how was your day?" or it can be a date. The difference is planning it as if it were in person:

Same dinner, two cities: order or cook the same dish and toast at the same time. Dress for the date, even if only from the waist up. Her in the Lace Kimono, him in the shirt she loves. Pretty lighting: a warm lamp or a candle to the side works wonders. Question game: "What was the first thing you thought about me?", "What's your favorite memory of us?" And when things warm up… let Long-Distance Rose do its part, with the camera showing only smiles.

One of you turns off the camera and only their voice is heard, guiding. Without seeing, the other's imagination does all the work.

5. Privacy: the game is only fun if it's safe

Let's get serious for a minute, because this matters. Anything intimate that goes through a phone needs care:

Passcode-locked phones and notifications that don't show message content on the lock screen. Apps with their own password and accounts you don't share with anyone else. Watch the cloud: check whether photos auto-back up to a shared account (family, the kids' tablet…). And the golden rule: never share, forward or save anything intimate without your partner's clear consent. Not even "just for me." If either of you says "delete it," it gets deleted.

Spicy note: trust is the sexiest thing there is. Knowing what you send stays between you two is what lets you dare a little more.

🤔 Myth or truth?

Tap each card to find out.

Myth. With communication and some play, anticipation can make the spark even stronger.
Truth. Check signal, battery and app updates before the date. Nothing kills the magic like "did it drop?"
Myth. A passcode isn't about distrust: it protects you both from prying eyes and lost phones.

🎡 What do we do tonight, miles apart?

Each in a different city and out of ideas? Let the wheel decide.

Ready?

✅ Trip checklist (and game checklist)

Tick it together. It's saved on this phone.

Our advice: distance feels smaller when there's a plan. Before the next trip, pick your treat together at Mia & Marco's Boutique and find more ideas in Games. The reunion, trust us, will be worth it.
